12/87 - 8 months old wearing the passive prosthesis she got at six months.

'88 Kim's first birthday. She stuck her short arm into the icing and licked it, then stuck her whole face into the cake!

8/88 - 16 months old, trying to color with both hands.

5/89 - Riding her trike, holding on with her "open-close" Myoelectric hand.

'90 - 3rd birthday; opening a present in her usual way - left hand and right foot.

9/90 - Posing before leaving for her first dance class.

First day of First grade, wearing her second myoelectric hand. 6 1/2 years old.

2/23/94 - Kim receiving her first Girl Scout Brownie badges. This is how she holds things with her short arm. Almost seven.
