And in 2007: Isaac is in the 3rd grade. He loves PS2, Gameboy, Transformers and Spiderman. He does very well in school and excels in Reading and Math. He loves Phys. Ed, and maintains a B average.
Raising Isaac was different 8 years ago because I didn't have to deal with children bullying him; it was mostly adults who were quite rude and now it is his classmates. The bullying issue has been addressed in a very interesting way and he is doing much better with all his classmates. He is a great child, very ambitious, and eager to succeed in HIS way. Sometimes this has been hard to accept because I was used to showing HIM and now he is showing ME. I do literally NOTHING for him. He does all his tasks for daily living completely independent of me and does them well. He is truly an inspiration to many, as are all of the I-CAN children.
