The most beautiful eyes you've ever seen, a kind heart, and run-away energy---that's Dan!

Daniel is eight years old and going into the third grade. He loves cars, the great ship Titanic, and his cat Oreo. He lives in Virginia with his dad, mom, and two sisters.

Dan was born in the Republic of Georgia in 1991. In 1994, he joined his adoptive family in America. He was born with phocomelia of the right arm. His right hand developed in utero, but his arm did not. Dan's right hand is fully formed and very functional. He uses it most frequently as a "helper hand" for his left arm and hand. He does not use a prosthesis. He receives Occupational Therapy support in school to help him develop strategies for two-armed tasks. This year, he's working on riding a two-wheeler.
